About Ephesio

Ephesio is an AI-powered cultural study and strategy-development assistant operated by Michael T. Cooper through Ephesiology. It guides inquiry using a methodology developed by Dr. Cooper. It is currently a beta service: features may change, interruptions may occur, and errors may remain. Contact michael@ephesiology.com with questions or technical problems.

AI assistance and your responsibility

Ephesio uses OpenAI to generate responses and report summaries from your questions and study material. Responses may contain inaccurate facts, unsupported interpretations, invented or incorrect citations, or omissions. They are working drafts, not independently verified research or an endorsement by Dr. Cooper. Check sources, quotations, cultural claims, and recommendations before acting on them or sharing them. Local voices, indigenous leadership, field research, prayerful reflection, and human judgment remain essential. Ephesio cannot determine or guarantee what God is doing, predict ministry results, or replace spiritual discernment.

Permission to process your material

By submitting content, you authorize Ephesio and its service providers to process it to operate your study, save progress, generate responses and reports, provide access, and monitor costs as described in the Privacy Notice. Submit only material you have the right and any necessary permission to share. Do not submit information identifying vulnerable people, confidential ministry locations or activities, passwords, financial credentials, or other sensitive personal information. Use anonymized descriptions when studying sensitive communities.

Study access and the beta fee

During the beta period, there is a $10 USD cost-recovery fee per study to help cover the AI processing required to conduct the research, analysis, and generate your final report. The fee is fixed; it is not an exact reimbursement of measured token costs. It covers one community and purpose, the eleven-step workflow, individual response downloads, and the initial and complete reports for that study. This is not a subscription. You may return to the same study and download its reports while the service remains available. A new study or project focus requires a new purchase. A valid coupon provides complimentary access subject to its stated restrictions. Continued availability of the beta service is not guaranteed.

No refunds

Payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. Review the beta status, study scope, and limitations before paying. If you experience a technical problem, contact michael@ephesiology.com for assistance. This policy does not remove any rights that cannot legally be waived.

Using and sharing reports

You retain your existing rights in the material you provide. You may use, revise, and share your generated reports, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. AI output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. Do not present generated findings as independently verified field research or falsely imply that Dr. Cooper personally authored or approved them. When sharing a report or substantially using its generated text, acknowledge Ephesio’s AI assistance and follow any additional disclosure rules of your institution or publisher. Ephesio’s methodology, branding, and underlying published works remain subject to their existing rights.

Responsible use and service changes

Use Ephesio lawfully and respectfully. Do not upload material you lack permission to use, misuse another person’s account, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service to harm people or expose sensitive communities. We may restrict access for abuse or security reasons. Material changes to this agreement or the Privacy Notice will have a new version and require renewed acknowledgment before new study activity.

Acceptance

By checking the acceptance box, you agree to this User Agreement and acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Notice. Your verified account, accepted document versions, and acceptance date are recorded. Acceptance is not consent to marketing emails. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer or privacy rights.
